Objective
Weather information can be fragmented and difficult to scan, making it challenging for users to quickly understand current conditions and plan around what’s ahead. The objective was to create a weather experience that organizes complex forecast information into a clear, intuitive hierarchy, enabling users to quickly assess conditions, explore upcoming forecasts, and make informed decisions about their day.
Secondarily, the New York Times provides a breadth of information regarding extreme weather in your area. The experience provides users with timely, contextual information about extreme weather conditions in their area—helping them understand potential risks, know what to expect, and take appropriate steps to prepare.
